How to propose motions for the AGM

All members can propose motions for the AGM. That means that you, either alone or with a group, can suggest changes in the organisation, topics we should focus on and so on.

How to submit your proposal:

We kindly ask you to use the template in the document below when submitting your motion:

Send completed template to [email protected].

You will be contacted by the Editorial Comittee as soon as they have reviewed the proposed motion.

National strategy

The 2021 AGM adopted Amnesty in Norway's national strategy which sets out the goals we are to reach by 2030. You can read the strategy in the document below. Please note that it is only available in Norwegian.

Important deadlines

If you propose a motion that demands changes in the bylaws, the proposal need to be with the boards three months prior to the AGM (21 January 2022). For ordinary motions, the deadline is six weeks at the latest (07 March 2022).
