Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2020
Welcome to Amnesty Norway’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) 17th of October 2020.
Amnesty's AGM 2020 will be held on the 17th of October at Scandic Airport hotel Gardermoen. The AGM was originally meant to be held in April, but got postponed due to the corona-pandemic.
As this will be a different and shorter AGM than originally planned, we will unfortunately not have professional interpretation from Norwegian to English. You are of course still more than welcome to participate even if you do not speak Norwegian.
The next AGM, which will be held in April 2021 will have professional interpretation.
Time: Saturday the 17th of October 2020.
Coffee and registration from 9 am and official opening at 10 am. The program will finish around 6 pm.
Place: Scandic Oslo Airport Hotel. Address: Ravinevegen 15, 2060 Gardermoen.
Who: The AGM is open to all members, but you must have been a member for at least six months prior to the AGM (24th Oct.) to have a right to vote. If you are not currently a member, but would like to be so, you can sign up to become a member here.
Costs: The participation fee is 200 NOK for ordinary members, and 100 NOK for members below 25 years of age.
Everyone can apply for travel refund. For climate reasons, we encourage those who can, to choose other modes of transport than airplane. When applying for travel refund, a deductible of 350 NOK for ordinary members and 200 NOK for youth below the age of 25 applies.
We encourage all members to travel back and forth on the same day. If this is not possible, we will cover accommodation for you, as long as it is specified in the application.
Programme: Coffee and registration from 9 am and official opening at 10 am. The program will finish around 6 pm. A tentative programme will be posted on the Norwegian website here.
