Support scheme for free accommodation at the AGM
Send us an email to [email protected] or call 22402200.
The scheme is trust-based, and we will therefore not ask for any information regarding your financial situation. We trust that only people with a genuine need will apply.
With the support scheme you will be given a single bed in a double room which you will share with another member of the same gender, unless you specify otherwise. Exceptions will be given to people who for particular reasons need a single room/ handicap room, as long as this is specified in the application.
The scheme is available for the following groups:
-
Student above 24 years of age (are you 24 or younger you can get free accommodation through our youth scheme)
-
Unemployed
-
On disability benefits
-
On minimum pension level
-
Live in a household where total income is below 300 000 NOK annually
-
Asylum seeker
-
Refugee in the introduction programme
Requirements to applicants:
-
You need to be a member of Amnesty International in Norway
-
You have to sign up for the AGM, pay the participation fee and confirm that you want the accommodation within one week (7 days) after approved application. If not, your space will be given to someone else.
-
If you are unable to participate at the AGM after all, you must inform Amnesty as soon as possible. If you do not inform us, you will be charged for the room.
First come, first served
Unfortunately, we only have a limited budget for the support scheme and applications will therefore be approved through a "first come, first served"-principle until the limit is reached. We therefore recommend you to apply early.
Deadline to apply: 24 March 2022.
