Invitation to Amnesty's annual general meeting 2025
Registration opens on December 13th, 2024.
Deadline for registration is March 15th, 2025.
Time
The meeting will be held over the weekend of April 25th-27th.
The official opening of the Annual General Meeting is Saturday morning, April 26, at approximately 9 AM. We aim to conclude the annual meeting on Sunday at 2 PM. More details will follow later.
A youth assembly will be held on Friday, April 25, from 9 AM for those aged 13-19.
Location
This year's annual meeting will be held in Drammen, specifically at Union Scene. Union Scene is about a 7-10 minute walk from Drammen train station. The adress is: Union Scene, Grønland 60, Drammen.

The nearest hotel for accommodation is Comfort Hotel, which is right next to the meeting venue.

Who Can Participate?
All members of Amnesty International Norway have the right to attend the annual meeting.
Only those who have been members and paid their membership fees for at least 3 months have voting rights.
How Much Does It Cost?
Participation fee: NOK 400 (NOK 200 for those under the age of 25).
This covers lunch and dinner on Saturday, lunch on Sunday as well as meeting rooms and event costs.
Hotel and breakfast: Book and pay for your own accommodation.
Travel expenses: You book your travel yourself. Travel expenses can be reimbursed by submitting an expense claim. Note that a deductible of NOK 450 (NOK 225 for those under 25) will be applied. (According to our climate strategy, only air travel is reimbursed if the train journey for the same route takes more than 7 hours.)
