Youth Gathering 2026
On September 25-27 its finally time for the next Youth Gathering!
The gathering will take place in Oslo at Tåsen School and is open to all Amnesty members between the ages of 13 and 20.
The theme of the gathering is:
"The rise of authoritarian attitudes – how does it affect young people?"

Who can join?
All Amnesty members aged 13 to 20 are welcome to attend the Youth Gathering. You are welcome whether or not you are part of a youth group, whether you have been active for a long time or are completely new to Amnesty. Not a member yet? You can become a youth member here for just 100 NOK and still join the gathering!

What happens at the gathering?
At the Youth Gathering, young activists from across Norway come together for a weekend of learning, activism, and community.
Participants will receive training on this year's theme from representatives of Amnesty International Norway, and together we will plan and carry out an action related to the topic. We will also take part in a workshop focused on public speaking and advocacy, helping you build the confidence and skills to stand up for the causes you care about most.
You will gain valuable knowledge and practical tools that you can use in your future activism for a fairer world. Just as importantly, you'll have the chance to make new friends from all over the country.
We also promise plenty of fun social activities, including team tournaments, baking competitions, and creative work
A detailed programme will be published here and sent to participants closer to the event.
What does it cost to attend?
The gathering is free and Amnesty covers travel expenses for all members. We encourage participants to order tickets for themselves and get a refund. If you need helping booking a ticket, please reach out to [email protected]. Remember to sign up before ordering your ticket.
