Action circular: Stop the Genocide, Stop Apartheid
Together, we can increase the pressure on Norwegian authorities and demand action.
This guide provides you with concrete tips on how to raise awareness about Israel’s human rights violations against Palestinians. Use it for inspiration, and don’t hesitate to take your own initiatives!
Do you have questions about how to get involved? Feel free to contact your regional office – you’ll find the contact information at the bottom of the page.
What can you do?
Sign and share Amnesty’s petitions
• Sign and share the actions on social media.
• Forward them to your network and encourage others to sign.
• Print out physical signature lists and collect signatures in public places, like train stations or universities. Printable versions are available on each action page.
Every signature counts!
What can you do? Write a message to Saleh to show that he and his family are not alone. They are at risk of being forcibly displaced from their home in the West Bank, and your words can mean so much to them. The messages will be forwarded to and read by Saleh and his family, giving hope in a time when Palestinians are experiencing a dramatic increase in settler violence following the ceasefire that came into effect in October. Send your message to [email protected].
My Oil Fund
The Norwegian Oil Fund’s investments may worsen the suffering in Palestine, and we cannot accept that. We believe the Oil Fund is currently managed in a way that is not in line with human rights.
Have you seen the #mittoljefond (#MyOilFund) campaign on social media? Amnesty is part of it!
We’ve managed to create pressure that politicians have noticed, but we must not stop now!
Keep sharing content about why the Oil Fund should not invest in companies contributing to occupation and apartheid.
Organize or Join a Demonstration
If Palestine demonstrations are being organized in your area, join and show your solidarity. If not, perhaps you can organize something yourself.
Not sure if an event aligns with Amnesty’s principles? Contact your regional regional office (see bottom of the page).

Put up posters and distribute materials
Visibility is crucial to putting pressure on Norwegian politicians.
- Put up posters in public spaces.
- Wear a button to show that you oppose the genocide.
- Distribute buttons and brochures in your community.
Order materials from Amnesty
Amnesty has regional offices in Tromsø, Trondheim, Oslo, Stavanger, and Bergen. If you live near one of these cities, you can arrange to pick up materials at the office. If you live elsewhere, you can request to have them sent by mail. Contact details for each office can be found at the bottom of the page.
The materials that are available:
"Stop Israels Genocide" brochure
"Stop Israels genocide" buttons
"Stop Israels genocide"- poster.
These are thick and of high quality, best suited for demonstrations rather than for hanging up.
Posters with the names and ages of children killed in Gaza
We have created several thousand unique posters, each displaying the name of a child confirmed to have been killed in Gaza. The posters include a QR code linking to the petition demanding an end to the genocide. They are available in both A4 and A5 (flyer size).
