What is the EYM?
The EYM is a forum for Amnesty activists from all over Europe to meet over 5 days to network, learn and further deepen their activism through participatory, creative and engaging methods!
The purpose of the EYM is to provide experienced youth activists with an opportunity to acquire new skills and knowledge, useful for their development as activists and leaders. The EYM also aims to increase activists motivation to play an active part of the Amnesty Movement: to be multipliers through their section and/or local/youth/student group. The EYM is organized by a group of staff members and experienced youth activists who have participated in previous EYMs. The meeting is not only youth-led, but also tailored by and for and with youth activists.
Mikulas participated in last years EYM - read what he has to say about the EYM experience here:
Hey! I am Mikulas, and I was part of the Norwegian delegation to EYM in 2025. EYM was truly an amazing experience. Not only I did get to meet many activists from all over Europe and beyond, I also had the opportunity to learn from a wide variety of lectures, workshops and even a panel discussion. I think that meeting people that are committed to the same cause as you can be truly inspiring, but also brings a lot of joy in the process. If you find it interesting discussing and learning about activism, while also meeting new people, I would definitely recommend applying.
